Interpretation of Alex Caminiti<\/a><\/em><\/strong> of the Caravaggio’s masterpiece ” Vocazione di san Matteo or The Calling of St Matthew”. It is located in Roma, Italy, and is one of three artworks based on the theme of St Matthew and depicting the moment at which Jesus inspired Matthew to follow him. The original masterpieces of Caravaggio show Matthew sitting at a table with other tax collectors, counting money. Jesus and Saint Peter are seen entering the room, with Jesus pointing towards Matthew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
